It’s that time of year again; the time we get to sit down and complain about anything, and everything, we deem necessary. Join us for our biggest “Bah Humbug!” moments of 2013.

Ron, Steve, and John are back for another round of Required Viewing, and this time the selection is a British crime thriller from 1980 called The Long Good Friday. After that, the guys discuss the fallout from the verdict in the Jonathan Majors assault/harassment trial, and then they do a quick rundown of recent things they’ve seen.

The guys take a quick trip to feudal Japan to check out 1980’s seminal Shogun Assassin, and then escape to a rental house in the country to see what Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali are up to in Netflix’s new apocalyptic thriller, Leave the World Behind. Also, John saw Wonka and shares a few thoughts.

Jump on in, and come along for the ride! Ronald, Steve, and John break down 1945’s Dead of Night, Takashi Yamazaki’s Godzilla Minus One, and Netflix’s Blue Eye Samurai, among others. 

Back from the Thanksgiving Table and full of Chocolate Pie, Ronald, Steve, and John burn off those holiday carbs by running down quite the list of recent releases. After quickly discussing 2018's I'll Take Your Dead, the guys review Disney's Wish, Eli Roth's Thanksgiving, Ridley Scott's Napoleon, and Season 5 of Fargo, among others.

This time it’s personal. On a very special Thanksgiving episode, Movie Schmovie shows a little gratitude.

So much, in so little time! If you can believe it, in less than 60 minutes the guys run through 1997's dark and disturbing Event Horizon, David Fincher's The Killer, Taika Waititi's Next Goal Wins, Apple TV+'s new MonsterVerse series, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Sundance Audience Award Winner, The Persian Version. It's a nice mix of titles you can watch at home and in theaters, so take a listen and plan your time accordingly. 

The guys take on a trio of new horror releases in this post-Halloween episode: Steve’s Required Viewing pick, the masterful and extreme Argentinian possession thriller When Evil Lurks; Blumhouse’s smash hit adaptation of the beloved video game, Five Nights at Freddy’s; and Mike Flanagan’s final Netflix mini-series, The Fall of the House of Usher.
